A group of like-minded individuals, with a great love for travelling, respect and admiration for Mother Nature and a dedication towards psytrance and other genres of dance music.

In the Beginning
Mozamboogy began as a small, intimate gathering of friends drawn together by a love for travel, underground music, and meaningful human connection. Its early editions were rooted in a nomadic spirit, often crossing borders and embracing the feeling of escape and exploration.

Over the years, the festival organically grew in scale and reputation, while staying true to its core values of authenticity, inclusivity, and creative freedom. Each edition introduced a distinctive theme, bold visual storytelling, and an ever-evolving musical identity, allowing Mozamboogy to mature into a beloved cult festival with a loyal community—one that feels less like an event and more like a moving family reunion in an extraordinary place.

2019 "Octopus's Garden" was the biggest gathering of Mozamboogy Family Members..... keep in mind this is a boutique festival so we can not accommodate more than 1'000 people due to the size of the venue.

By far, in my own opinion, one of the very best Boogy's yet. There was so much excitement in the air, and strange outfits, and happy people everywhere!
The Venue
Experience Mother Nature at her best. The Malongane Beach Resort is a kilometers long beach front resort situated at the edge of a quaint semi-rural village of Ponta Malongane. It truly is a little piece of paradise. Where you can walk barefoot on the sea sand, swim in the ocean, go scuba diving, snorkelling, and even go swimming with dolphins.
Malongane Beach Resort has 11 Chalets situated very close to the beach and Restaurant:
A1, A2, D1, D2, E1, E2 (2 to 6 sleeper Chalets) – 1 bedroom chalet with open plan kitchen / living area and private bathroom. Outdoor area for meals with table and benches.
B1, B2, C1, C2 (4 sleeper Chalets) – 2 bedroom chalet with open plan kitchen / living area and private bathroom. Outdoor covered area for meals with table and benches.
Guest House (7 to 8 sleeper chalet) – 3 bedroom chalet with dining / living area, kitchen and a spacious garden covered with beautiful trees. Outdoor area for meals with table and benches. The main bedroom has AC
All units include:
Beds with bedding and linen
Kitchen equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge/freezer and gas cooker
Private bathroom with hot water shower
Ceiling fans
Outside braai facilities
Note:
Please bring your own towels (beach and bath).
Please don’t bring hairdryers or any other electrical appliances with elements.
The Chalets are serviced daily.
CAMPING at Malongane Beach Resort is very comfortable and highly encouraged. Loads of trees, no thorns, sufficient amount of clean and conveniently located ablution facilities throughout the resort.
