GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Organizers and/or the venue(s) reserve the right to refuse admission or eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the management.

The Organizers reserve the right to search all persons and personal property via bag searches upon entry, or at any given time during the event. They will refuse admission to, or eject from the venue, any person who refuses to be searched by a steward, member of security or venue representative.

The Organizers reserve the right to cancel this event at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside their control. They also reserve the right to alter or change the program and line-up without prior notification.

Persons attending the event are responsible for their own valuables. Neither the Organizer, nor the venue will be liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the venue.

The Organizers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense, or personal injury due to any negligent act or omission.

The Organizers reserve the right to refuse anyone entry to the venue at their discretion and any person who fails to comply with instructions from a steward or other person acting on behalf of the Organizers may be ejected. In addition anyone found to be causing damage to the venue, the venue infrastructure, causing harm to any other person at the venue, behaving in an illegal, anti-social or aggressive manner, appearing to be under the influence of drugs or in breach of these conditions will be ejected.

You consent to be included in any photography, film and/or sound recordings of the Festival or its surrounds and for these recordings to be used by us for any future Festival marketing and promotional purposes.

Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through an authorized point of sale.

WARNINGS – Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing. Smoke effects, strobe lighting, lasers and loud noises may be used at this event.

Ticket Refund Policies and Procedures

Please make sure to buy your ticket through our on-line ticket site (there are no other authorized people / companies selling mozamboogy tickets or packages.)

BE AWARE of MEANIES  out there trying to scam, cheat and con our beloved BOOGY FOLLOWERS.

Terms and Conditions of purchase of tickets

Take note, by logging into our online ticketing system, you officially confirm that you agree with, understand, and have read our terms and conditions.

In the event that you wish to cancel your booking the following will apply.

Within 1 month before BOOGY – Refund will be 50% of amount paid.
Within 3 weeks before BOOGY – Refund will be 25% of amount paid.
Within 2 week before BOOGY – No refund.

In the event that you cancel your booking more than a month before BOOGY or you find somebody to take over your booking, the administration cost will be 10% of the booking total.

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, bookings and orders will be processed immediately and confirmed by way of booking number via email firstly when the transaction takes place and secondly when the transaction is shown on BOOGY BANK statements. (under the name of KAREN DE WAAL)

If you take ownership of someone’s paid ticket the responsibility falls on you to do the following:
– check with BOOGY ADMINISTRATORS / ORGANIZERS that the ticket is indeed valid
– check that the ticket has been paid for in full by previous owner
– register on our booking system
= provide us with your personal details in order to carry it over to your name on our booking system.
– payment to the previous owner needs to be made to them directly (not our job) 🙂

previous owner :  you need to ensure that you receive full payment, after ticket has been verified as a valid ticket by new ticket owner.

Please note transfer of funds for these tickets are not the responsibility of MOZAMBOOGY

With regards to diving refunds the following terms shall apply:

If you book a dive and miss the dive for any reason other than an acceptable medical reason, you will forfeit your money paid for such dive;

If Malongane cancels a dive or if an acceptable medical reason for not diving has been accepted by BOOGY, you may either ask for a refund before 1 Sept. 2020 (which refund will be limited to 75% of the fee paid and excludes reef tax and staff tips) or claim a credit for use at Malongane before 1 November 2020 (please verify these dates with the dive centre.

No Driving on the Beach No Aggressive, Violent or Antagonizing behaviour allowed
No fires to be made on the beach or any other place, then in a demarcated area specific for fire / braai areas
Respect the rules of the resort and more importantly respect and honour the laws of Mozambique
Please camp only in designated camping areas (if you don’t, you will be asked to move your tent) Same goes for your vehicle. Please only park in designated parking areas inside the resort.
Please drive slowly inside the resort. Please minimize your driving inside the resort (park your car and leave it parked for the festival)
No Trading of any kind permitted inside the resort – it is strictly forbidden by the resort and the government.
No vandalism please – respect the property of the resort and your fellow Boogy Followers.
Please be considerate towards the local people in the village of Malongane
Please be considerate towards your fellow Boogy Follower.
Act responsibly please.
Please be kind – if you happen to pick up something that does not belong to you kindly bring it to HQ (see on Resort Map where Head Quarters is).
If you find a fellow Boogy Follower in need of medical attention, be kind enough to assist him / her to the Medics Station / or to Head Quarters.
Remember to sleep enough, drink enough water, eat regularly and if you are on medication of any sort, please remember to bring it along and to take it.
Please DO NOT LITTER inside the resort, on the BEACH, or in the VILLAGE, or on the way to the RESORT. RESPECT this beautiful place. We refer particularly to CIGARETTE BUDS.!!!
