MOZAMBOOGY FESTIVAL – TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions govern attendance at the Mozamboogy Festival (“the Festival”). By purchasing a ticket, entering the festival grounds, or participating in any festival-related activities, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. GENERAL
1.1 Mozamboogy Festival is a privately organised event. The organisers reserve the right to
amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
1.2 All attendees must be in possession of a valid ticket for entry.
1.3 Tickets are non-transferable unless transfer of ownership is done by the organisers.
1.4 The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the festival
without refund if they:
• Behave in a dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate manner
• Fail to comply with festival rules
• Endanger the safety of other attendees or staff
• Damage property
1.5 Entry to the festival is at your own risk.
2. INDEMNITY & LIABILITY
2.1 All attendees enter the festival grounds entirely at their own risk.
2.2 The organisers, promoters, venue owners, staff, contractors, sponsors, and affiliates shall
not be held liable for:
• Any injury, illness, or death
• Loss or theft of personal property
• Damage to vehicles or belongings
• Any accident or incident occurring at or related to the festival
2.3 Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance including, but not
limited to:
• Loud music and lighting effects
• Uneven terrain
• Weather conditions
• Camping risks
• Crowd-related incidents
2.4 By attending Mozamboogy Festival, you hereby indemnify and hold harmless the
organisers, venue, staff, contractors, and affiliates against any claims, damages, losses,
liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your attendance.
3. TICKET PURCHASE & REFUND POLICY
3.1 All ticket purchases are subject to the following refund policy:
Refund Periods:
• More than 3 months prior to the festival date:
* Refund issued minus a 10% administration fee
• Within 3 months prior to the festival date:
* 50% refund issued
* 10% administration fee applies
• Within 30 days prior to the festival:
* No refunds will be issued
3.2 A 10% administration fee applies to ALL refunds processed.
3.3 No refunds will be issued for:
• Discounted tickets
• Promotional tickets
• Early bird tickets
• Special rate tickets
• Competition or giveaway tickets
3.4 Refunds are processed at the sole discretion of the organisers.
3.5 Refunds will be processed within 14–30 business days.
3.6 Service fees charged by third-party ticketing platforms may be non-refundable.
4. EVENT CHANGES
4.1 The organisers reserve the right to:
• Change the lineup
• Change the schedule
• Change event layout
• Change facilities
4.2 Artist cancellations or lineup changes do not constitute grounds for refunds.
4.3 The festival may be postponed due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control
including:
• Weather conditions
• Government regulations
• Safety concerns
• Force majeure events
4.4 In the event of postponement, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
5. WEATHER POLICY
5.1 Mozamboogy Festival is a rain-or-shine event.
5.2 No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.
6. ENTRY CONDITIONS
6.1 All attendees may be subject to searches upon entry.
6.2 Prohibited items may include but are not limited to:
• Illegal substances
• Weapons
• Fireworks
• Glass bottles
6.3 The organisers reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items.
7. CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION
7.1 Camping is at your own risk.
7.2 Attendees are responsible for their own belongings.
7.3 The organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
8. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
8.1 By entering the festival, attendees consent to being photographed and filmed.
8.2 Mozamboogy Festival reserves the right to use any media captured for:
• Marketing
• Promotion
• Social media
• Advertising
8.3 No compensation will be payable for such use.
9. RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED
9.1 The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without refund.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
10.1 The organisers shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or changes caused by events
beyond reasonable control including:
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Pandemics
• Civil unrest
• Venue issues
11. GOVERNING LAW
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Africa.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
12.1 By purchasing a ticket and attending Mozamboogy Festival, you confirm that you have
read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
